Amounts related to arms sales to Taiwan under various U.S presidencies (USD$)

Ronald Reagan       $1.58 billion         $4.52 in 2020 $ (8 years)
Bill Clinton:           $17.53 billion       $31.58 (8 years)
George W. Bush:    $29.94 billion       $44.03 (8 years)

Barack Obama:       $14.07 billion    $17.07 (8 years)

Donald Trump:       $15.03 billion     $15.96 (4 years)

Conclusion: There's no clear party trend as to military support of Taiwan except that no party has ever stopped the sales of arms to the country of Taiwan. Be reminded that private companies are selling these weapons and defense systems, not governments.
